Dear all visitors,
Today, I would like to launch the newest version of Engineering Faculty of Asian University’s (efau’s) website. I’m going to tell you about the objectives of this brand new website. But first of all, I would like to give you updates of what’s going on, why you are here automatically instead of the old version of the website.
First, as I had planned before, this website should be the trial version right now. But there are unexpected outcomes, resulted from updating server’s software, that made the existing website irrecoverably broken. This is the reason why you see this message and this new look website earlier than I expected to be. For lecturers who have host your files on the old version website, don’t be afraid of the file missing. If you would like to recover your file, please send me an e-mail stating your file names you would like me to recover.
Second, due to the unfinished development of the website, the look of this website may be changed frequently. Therefore, apologize to you in advance if these changes may confuse you a bit.
Then, let’s talk about the objectives of changing the look of this website. Recently, I and Khun Rossukhon have decided to restructure the website of our faculty. The objectives of restructuring website are:-
- making website cleaner and easier to read than the old version.
- The website is based on WordPress platform, which allows every lecturers to publish the news or interesting articles themselves easily.
- making it as the main way for marketing and promoting our faculty.
Also, I would like to hear from everyone about the future of the website. Therefore, if you have any suggestions, additional things you would like to add to the website, don’t hesitate. Please e-mail me at: schroder.worapon [at] gmail.com . Every suggestions and recommendations will be read thoroughly and may become an important part for the future of our faculty’s website
Lastly, I promised to continuously develop and maintain this website until the end of second semester in 2012. And hope you enjoy the “new beginning” of this website!
Best Regards,
