Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Asian University. This is where we provide you with a high standard of education to prepare you for a career in an Engineering or Technology profession. The majority of our lecturers have doctoral degrees (Ph.D.) in their own respective fields. Many of them also have had teaching or research experience at recognized institutions around the world such as University of Glasgow in UK, University of New South Wales in Australia, MIT and Ohio State University in the USA.
Our teaching system involves considerable interaction between lecturers and students, with regular tutorials, small group classes and extensive laboratory work. With the high level of support that we provide, students can develop themselves not only to be highly technically competent, but also to be mature, self-reliant and capable of moving confidently into new and diverse fields, either within Engineering or otherwise. Students from the Faculty are highly regarded as bright and capable. Each year, many of them receive scholarships from the “International Association for Exchange of Students for Technical Experience” (IAESTE) for their internship during their summer break in countries such as Austria, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, and Brazil.
